 Kid Tip:

Although What-A-Hoot can teach size difference and rainbow sequencing, allow your child the freedom to explore other possibilities.  There is no wrong way to put What-A-Hoot together!

With a soft fleece head and felt body, our owl companion is perfect for just cuddling and hugging when children are very young.  It doesn't take long however, before they discover how to take it apart.  Big, flat, soft pieces make it easy for little hands to maneuver and lace it back onto the elastic.  As their skills improve, What-A-Hoot becomes an educational toy with lacing, size discrimination, and rainbow sequencing.  But don't tell your children.  They're just having fun!  Stands 9" tall with 14 pieces.
Please note that this is a pattern.  This activity does not come ready-made.
Sewing level: Easy
